LSA
Systems are
installed practically in all communication
networks. You will find LSA components throughout the entire line
technology, from the local network over to the main distributor and
down to the end user branches.
The LSA connection principle is based on a cut-and-clamp contact configuration,
having a scissor-shaped design. Prior to being cut and stripped of
their insulation, the cables are pressed into the cut-and-clamp contact
with a normal clip-on tool. The design of the cutting contact enables
partial separation of the cable from its insulation and an airtight
surface contact to the solid copper conductor. At the end of compression
through the use of the tool, the protruding cable is cut automatically.
The removal of insulation, actual contact
and the cutting of the cable simultaneously provides the system-specific
advantage of saving assembly time.
